Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, March 5, 2014 – Sustainable Square experts advise key Saudi organizations at the 1st Forum on Social Responsibility in the Saudi organizations organized by Dammam University at Sheraton Dammam.
In partnership with the Global Expert Cabinet for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, Sustainable Square participated at 1st forum of the social responsibility in the Saudi organizations organized by Dammam University at Sheraton Dammam.
Sustainable Square – represented by its co-founders respectively Head of Sustainability Knowledge Leadership and Head of Advisory – Mr. Eric Hensel and Mr. Monaem Ben Lellahom – have been present at the 1st forum of the social responsibility in the Saudi organizations in Dammam.
Mr. Monaem Ben Lellahom delivered a half-day workshop targeted Board Members, CEOs, general managers, CSR and sustainability senior practitioners from more than 35 organizations representing private sector, governments, NGOs and universities. The workshop titled Sustainability and Social Responsibility for leaders tackled the strategic business case of sustainability and important decision to be undertaking by participants to kick-off sustainability agendas within their organizations.
Sustainable Square has also animated a – first of its kind in Saudi Arabia – consultancy saloon managed by the Global Expert Cabinet to answer companies’ general sustainability and social responsibility inquires and provide advises on their sustainability agendas forward. The saloon was visited by top organizations including Saudi Aramco, STC Telecom, WAQF Al Moussa, Bank Saudi Fransi and others seeking advises from Sustainable Square’s experts and identifying opportunities for future collaboration and assistance.
The forum addresses a number of important issues namely social responsibility practices, community servicing and sustainability strategies. It also presents practical experiments and applied models of social responsibility in the Saudi organizations. Furthermore, the forum discusses accounting and marketing dimensions of Social responsibility in the Saudi organizations and strategies of applying social responsibility within Saudi organizations.
